I have compiled my all-time
top 100 games. In-keeping with
my policy of being as systematic as possible each game will be accompanied
by a number of unchanging field titles, these are:
Title - the name of the game.
Format - in brackets after the title: the console the game was released on or the version of it I'm including in my list, if the format is not stated then the game is for the PC.
Year of Release - also in brackets after the title.
Developer - the guys who made the game.
Genre: the type fo game it is.
Comment: generally some words of praise about why I've included it one the list.
Gripe: - this usually relates to an idiosyncratic fault or niggle I have with the game and it generally accounts for why the game is not higher in the list.
There will also be a token screenshot of
each game. It
must be noted here that, because I was totally brand-loyal to Nintendo in
my youth and hated all things Sega, there are no Sega titles in the list at all. This hatred of Sega quickly developed into a hatred of Sony's Playstation,
so there are also no PS or PS2 titles either. For this I do not apologise as I
remain convinced that very few Sega or PS titles could breach this list.
